On the afternoon of May 14, Mayor Fei Gaoyun met with the delegation headed by Mr. Robert Kueng, governor of the Canton of Lucerne, Switzerland, and talked about extending cooperation and exchange in fields of economy, culture, health, social security, etc.

In recent years, more and more Swiss companies have chosen to invest in Changzhou, such as ABB, , etc. Meanwhile, the local enterprises like Trina Solar, Jinsheng Industrial, etc. have set up branch in Europe. By the end of 2013, a total of 21 Swiss Companies have been approved to invest in Changzhou, and the imports and exports between Changzhou and Switzerland reached 148 million U.S. Dollars, up 13.48%.

The Canton of Lucerne is located in the centre of Switzerland. It has special advantages in precision machinery, manual manufacturing, tourism, etc.
