On July 24, one locally transmitted case of Covid-19 was confirmed and registered in Suzhou city of Jiangsu province.

One confirmed and one symptomless case, both inbound, were newly reported in the province.

Four hospitalized Covid-19 patients (two local and two inbound) were discharged, while 21 asymptomatic carriers (20 local and one inbound) were released from medical observation.

Nineteen confirmed cases (14 local and five inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 87 asymptomatic carriers (77 local and ten inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 579 high-risk and 577 medium-risk areas.
