On the morning of September 21, SPAL Automotive (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. began with its construction, aiming to promote the development of the manufacturing industry and intelligent electric vehicle industry in Wujin, Changzhou. Hang Yong, vice mayor and secretary-general of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, attended the commencement ceremony.

The SPAL Group, established in 1959,  is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance electric fans and blowers for use in HVAC vehicle systems and oil or engine cooling systems. Working on a global scale with subsidiaries in six countries, SPAL has capability to produce over 3 million fans and blowers annually.

SPAL Automotive (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in July last year, mainly producing plastic molds and assembling products for fans and blowers. The project takes an area of about 58 mu (3.87 hectares), which will be completed in two phases. The annual sales are expected to be 450 million yuan after the first-phase project comes to full production.
