Between August 18th and September 7th, the seven-member Minden Youth Delegation visited Changzhou and carried out a variety of interactive activities with the teachers and students of Changzhou No.3 Middle School.

This is the first youth exchange event carried out between Changzhou and Minden, Germany after the two cities became sister cities. The delegation, headed by Michael Jäcke, Mayor of Minden, arrived in Changzhou on August 18th for a three-week summer camp. The teen delegates from Minden stayed in their host families during the three weeks, and attended Changzhou No.3 Middle School together with local students. They learned Chinese, calligraphy, pottery, weaving Chinese knot, Chinese martial arts and table tennis, fully experiencing the Chinese traditional culture and promoting the friendship between Changzhou and Minden.
