According to The Study of Coordinated Development and Comprehensive Strength of Chinese Cities released on December 25th, Changzhou was ranked 12th among prefecture-level cities（excluding capital cities）in overall strength during 2010-2011.
　　Based on the basic economic and social statistical data of each city in 2010, the analysis and assessment of city’s comprehensive strength was carefully carried out from many aspects on China’s 287 cities at or above prefecture level.  
　　The top five cities of this year’s evaluation are: Suzhou, Dongguan, Foshan, Erdos and Wuxi.
