On May 20th, 2015 China (Changzhou) International Graphene Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in the West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Zone.

The purpose of this competition is to select graphene projects with industrial prospects both at home and abroad, including power cells, solar power, composite materials, energy storage technologies, desalination, environmental management, wearable electronics, electronic cooling, anti-corrosion coatings, etc.

A total of 15 projects attended the contest in Changzhou. The program of highly efficient graphene sponge adsorption material headed by Sun Litao from the Jiangnan Institute of Graphene was ranked the first. This project will enter the finals in Qingdao in October this year.
