　　2011 is a significant year of the revolution of train ticket booking system. Since Beijing Railway Administration implemented telephone booking service in this July, Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway and so on have started online booking services one after another. By the end of October, all CHR units have been included into the online booking system. People now can book tickets by phone or website rather than queuing at the ticket outlets in person.
　　At the same time, in order to better facilitate the booking system, the railway sector defined “12306” as the official phone number of all railway customer service centers and further standardized the service processes and standards. Passengers can find out train numbers, schedules, ticket prices, remaining tickets and other information by visiting http://www.12306.cn/ or calling "12306".
　　In addition, railway customer service center will be able to deal with complaints, advices and recommendations from the passengers by means of self-voice call center, online manual service, customer’s mailbox at http://www.12306.cn/, etc.
