On the morning of June 13, Deputy Party Secretary Mr. Dai Yuan met with the Venice delegation headed by Laura Fincato, Mayoral-Appointed Counselor for Special Events.

As the Chairwoman of Venice Expo Committee, Fincato introduced about the Expo Milano 2015 and gave a briefing of the creative concept and construction progress of the Venice Pavillion at the Expo.

Dai expressed welcome to the delegates. He said, Changzhou and Venice are both ancient cities built by water, sharing cooperative foundations in many fields. Dai also expressed that Changzhou is willing to learn from the advanced management systems and manufacturing technologies of Italian companies, as well as the successful experience in balancing economic development and environmental protection. He hopes the two cities will have further mutual understanding and seek common ground of cooperation, so as to realize more exchanges and cooperations.  

Laura warmly welcomed all sectors of Changzhou to attend the Expo Milano 2015 and expressed the willing to have more exchanges with Chinese cities.
