On the afternoon of September 22, the China-Germany (Changzhou) Industrial Park for Inspection, Testing and Certification Cooperation held a signing ceremony, at which 10 companies providing or requiring such services officially signed agreements to settle within the park. Hang Yong, vice mayor and secretary-general of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, attended the event.

The 2020 Seminar on the Strategic Development of China's Domestic Instrument Industry was held on the same day. Focusing on the theme of “Brand Building and Marketization of Domestic Instruments”, Dr. Chen Hongyuan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other experts, senior officials and representatives in this industry discussed the possible ways of improving and expanding the domestic instrument industry. The participating guests agreed that to promote sustainable development, it is necessary to enhance independent innovation capacity of the industry.
