Recently, the delegation of Changzhou Municipal Health Bureau arrived in Zanzibar to visit the 25^th Jiangsu Medical Aid Team.

The 25^th Jiangsu Medical Aid Team for Zanzibar, which is independently organized by Changzhou, has developed a number of new technologies in Zanzibar in fields of gynecology, maxillofacial surgery, otorhinolaryngology, and so on, during a year and a half. In addition, the team has set up two more medical centers based on the Ophthalmology Center, Smile Center and the Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery, namely, the Digestive Endoscopy Center of Chinese Medical Aid Team and the Orthopedic Trauma Center of Chinese Medical Aid Team.

With the five centers, the medical aid team is able to provide better services for local residents and to expand its influence. In addition to the routine outpatient services, the medical team also carries out regular case discussions, seminars and trainings, as well as health education on TV, lectures in school of medicine, voluntary outpatient services in rural areas, etc. The team has won praise from the local people. Chinese doctors are hailed as "angels in white" and "the most popular people" by the local government and people, and have been received by Dr. Ali Mohamed Shein, the President of Zanzibar.
