Government delegation of Linyi, Shandong visit Changzhou

From September 14-15, the government delegation of Linyi city, Shandong province headed by Wang Ande, secretary of CPC Linyi Municipal Committee, and Meng Qingbin, mayor of Linyi Municipal People’s Government, visited Changzhou. Qi Jiabin, secretary of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, received the delegation.

The delegation visited Trina Solar Limited, China Graphene Science & Technology Exhibition Hall, New United Group, CHJ Automotive Changzhou Base, Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Science & Education Town.

Qi Jiabin said that at present, the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government is formulating the 14th Five-Year Plan for the city based on the guiding principles of Xi Jinping’s important speeches. Adhering to innovation as the core for economic development, Changzhou will give its manufacturing industry full play and build more platforms for science and technology innovation, in order to build Changzhou into a world-renowned star city of intelligent manufacturing. He looks forward to further communication and exchanges between Changzhou and Linyi for a new era of high-quality economic and social development.

Wang Ande said that Changzhou, as one of the founders of the Sunan model, has developed many innovative ideas and plans that Linyi can learn from. In particular, he found Changzhou’s practices in boosting industrial clusters and technological innovation very inspiring. It is hoped that the two cities will carry out closer cooperation and share more experiences to give full play to each other’s advantages for all-round development.
