On August 8, Changzhou Science and Technology Building of Nanjing University successfully topped out, and would be put into operation in the first half of next year, which is mainly used for R&D and high-tech business incubator. Currently, Changzhou Science and Education Town has attracted 478 enterprises and R&D institutions, over 9,200 research personnel and 145 leading innovation and entrepreneurial teams.

Changzhou Hi-tech Research Institute of Nanjing University is the first one research institution settled in Changzhou Science and Education Town. It has built five public technology R&D centers and 22 college-enterprise cooperative laboratories. In addition, it attracts a batch of academic leaders of Nanjing University besides four academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences to cooperate with Changzhou enterprises and carry out more than 80 large projects, which add output value of over RMB 3 billion.
