From January to June the total foreign trade volume reached USD 14.33 billion, completing 55.1% of the annual plan, an increase of 41.4%; the actual paid-up foreign capital reached USD 1.97 billion, an increase of 44.7%, completing 61.7% of the annual plan; 25 overseas enterprises were newly approved, an increase of 25%, among which, Chinese investment reached USD 213 million, an increase of 71.6%, completing 54% of the annual plan. Toyota and Daiwa House are two new Fortune 500 Companies settled in Changzhou, covering 7 projects. Recently, the number of Fortune 500 Companies invested in Changzhou reached 55, covering 83 projects.
