On December 21, Chen Jinhu, secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, received Dr. Constanze Wang, head of Government Affairs & Advocacy, AHK Greater China, and other delegates coming to the city for the Jiangsu-Germany Dialogue 2021.

In recent years, Changzhou has focused on meeting German standards in industrial development with a global vision, making fruitful achievements in all-around exchanges and cooperation with German cities, said Chen Jinhu.

In terms of economic and trade cooperation, Chen mentioned that many high-quality German-funded enterprises have continuously invested in Changzhou, such as Siemens, ThyssenKrupp, Bosch, Continental AG, MAN Turbo, Volkswagen, and LANXESS.

Looking forward, he stated that Changzhou focuses on creating a world-class investment environment and sincerely invited people from Germany to visit and invest in Changzhou.

Taking the opportunity of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany next year, the AHK Greater China is willing to expand exchanges and cooperation in various fields with Changzhou, said Dr. Constanze Wang.

Yang Jing, deputy director of Jiangsu Foreign Affairs Office, and Chen Zhiliang, vice mayor of Changzhou, were present at the meeting.
