Recently, vice mayor Chen Zhengchun met with Ms. Theresa Healy, Ireland's Consul General in Shanghai, at the Administration Center.

Ms. Healy visited Changzhou this time to learn more about the city’s economic development, culture and history, and investment environment. During her stay in Changzhou, she visited the Qingguoxiang Historic Block.

Chen Zhengchun extended a warm welcome to Ms. Healy and introduced Changzhou’s economic and social conditions.

In 2006, Changzhou University and Maynooth University, Ireland started carrying out the“3+1”degree programs in Electronic Information Engineering and Pharmaceutical Engineering. In March 22, 2016, the two universities, together with the Consulate General of Ireland in Shanghai, held the Irish Cultural Week to celebrate the 10th anniversary of cooperation between Changzhou University and Maynooth University. Ms. Healy attended the cultural week event in Changzhou.
