On July 1, Changzhou TV Library—the first TV library in Jiangsu province opened at channel 701. From then on, over 400,000 digital TV subscribers in the urban areas will be able to receive documentation and information service of Changzhou Library on TV for free.

Changzhou TV Library, as another new initiative of the policy of “culture beneficial for citizens,” makes use of existing television networks and the rich resources of Changzhou Library, such as digital books, newspapers, lectures and multimedia classrooms, so as provide every family with real-time library services.
