On December 8, the 9th International Green Habitat Forum was grandly opened in Wujin. This forum is sponsored by the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Center for International Cooperation of the National Development and Reform Commission, and the United Nations Environment Programme – Sustainable Building and Climate Initiative (UNEP-SBCI); and is co-sponsored by China Merchants Property Development Holding Co., Ltd. and Wujin District Government. The theme of the forum is "Green Industry & Eco-development," containing several aliquot seminars such as "Low-carbon Policies and Public Participation," " Eco-city and Industry Cluster,” “Integration and Practice of Green Technology," "Green Industry Chain,” etc. The purpose of this forum is to promote international exchanges and cooperation in the field of green energy and ecological industry, so as to further explore a new model of coordinative development of green habitat and green industry.

    Wujin Green Building Industrial Agglomeration Demonstration Area is located in the the southwest of Wujin’s central area, covering a total area of 15.6 square kilometers.
