The Jiangsu-EU Green Building Materials Matchmaking Meeting 2022 was held in the Wujin Green Building Demonstration Park on April 28. 

Huan Heng, deputy mayor of Changzhou, spoke at the meeting. Michael Schumann, chairman of the Board of the German Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA), attended the meeting virtually. 

Participants of the virtual meeting include about 50 sustainable construction materials suppliers in Jiangsu province and more than 60 European companies specializing in design, real estate development, and construction consulting services. 

The event was hosted jointly by the CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of the International Trade), the CCPIT Jiangsu Provincial and Changzhou Municipal Branches, the Changzhou Bureau of Commerce, and the Wujin Green Building Demonstration Park. 

The meeting — helping local suppliers with market expansion — is dedicated to supporting industrial restructuring and urban-rural green development through international cooperation in the digital age.
