On the morning of April 18, the Changzhou Countryside Tourism Festival 2015 & Shangruan Flower Festival was opened in the Cherry Blossom Garden of Shangruan Agricultural Park located in Maoshan Tourist Resort, Jintan.

Shangruan Agricultural Park is a provincial modern agricultural industry park which grows a variety of flowers blooming from March to October.

In recent years, Changzhou has established more than 200 tourist spots in the countryside, including 35 national or provincial demonstration spots. In 2014, 25 countryside tourist spots were covered in statistical survey, which received a total of 12.2674 million tourists and achieved business revenue of 725 million yuan.

The event lasts until the end of April, involving a series of activities themed with flowers, family tour, farming experience, camping, picking, etc.
