Changzhou is set to host the 2024 "Twin Lakes" Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Wujin District on May 30. Designed to attract and cultivate top talent, the competition aims to drive industrial growth through innovative projects.

This year's competition spotlights cutting-edge sectors, including humanoid robotics, synthetic biology, and hydrogen energy. Projects should align with the Dragon City Talent Program criteria and demonstrate potential for implementation in Changzhou. The competition will honor outstanding entries with two first prizes, four second prizes, and four third prizes.

Winning projects that establish themselves in the city can receive up to 5 million yuan in comprehensive startup funding and a minimum of 1 million yuan in equity support. Additionally, winners will benefit from 100 square meters of office space with a two-year rent exemption and priority access to the West Taihu Lake Talent Apartment incentive. Further support includes up to 10 million yuan in talent guidance fund investment and priority access to various pro-innovation policies in Wujin, facilitating the development of upstream industrial chains.
