On the morning of March 11, GSR Semiconductor Lighting Industrial Park officially settled in Wujin Hi-tech Industrial Zone.

GSR Ventures was founded in 2005, managing the funds amounting to USD 700 million. 

GSR's Investment scopes include semiconductor devices and new materials, Internet and wireless communication technology and its applications, new media, green energy and other emerging high-growth areas. Currently, the company has invested in more than 50 domestic projects, such as Lattice Power, Lattice Lighting, Rebate Network, etc.

This time, GSR brought two programs into Wujin, namely the "Semiconductor Spherical Light Bulb" and the "R & D Center." At the same time, the semiconductor lighting industrial base was established, with the total investment of USD 100 million, dedicated to the research and manufacturing of LED lighting products, excepting an annual capacity of 30 million sets.

Wujin Semiconductor Lighting Industrial Park has initially set up a complete industrial chain combining upstream and downstream companies. At present, 64 LED auxiliary enterprises have already been located in this park. The settlement of GSR Semiconductor Lighting Industrial Park will play a remarkable role in promoting the development of Wujin's LED industrial cluster.
