On July 13, the 5th “China Bonding Day” Bonding and Composite Technology Exchange Conference opened in the Jiangsu Changzhou Economic Zone. Wang Wenyi, vice director of the Zone’s Administration Committee, attended the opening ceremony.

The two-day conference was co-hosted by YIFA Bonding& Composite Training Center (YIFA B&C) and Fraunhofer IFAM. More than 300 enterprise representatives and technical experts from rail transit, automotive, home appliances and aviation industries attended the conference to discuss the application and development of bonding technology.

YIFA B&C is the exclusive strategic partner of Fraunhofer IFAM in China and an industry-recognized certification and training institution. By the end of 2019, YIFA B&C has trained more than 4,000 participants and served over 200 customers including CRRC, AVIC industry, CRSC, Mercedes Benz, etc.  So far, there are nearly 30 OEMs and suppliers, maintenance plants and more than 170 railway component suppliers that have passed the certification audit by YIFA B&C. 

Last year, YIFA New Materials Institute (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. was established in the Rail Transit Industrial Park of Jiangsu Changzhou Economic Zone, dedicated to training, certification, project consulting and testing development related to bonding and composite materials.
