The preparatory work meeting for the 2020 World Industrial and Energy Internet & International Industrial Equipment Expo was held on the afternoon of August 25. Liang Yibo, member of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and executive deputy mayor of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, attended the meeting.

This year's expo, theme with "New Industry, New Energy, New Infrastructure and New Dynamic", will be held from September 16 to September 26.

The activities include the opening ceremony, the main summit, online exhibitions, and ten seminars with the topics of Industrial Internet, Energy Internet, Smart City, and so on. This year’s expo will build a 3D cloud exhibition platform using VR technology to present a cross-platform virtual reality experience.

At present, the organizing committee has reached over 20 academicians intending to to participate in the expo; at the same time, it has also sorted out more than a dozen projects related to smart manufacturing and smart energy which are likely to be signed during the expo.
