On August 21st, the Charity Federation of Changzhou held the Distributing Ceremony of Charitable Grants 2014. Zhang Yunyun, deputy mayor of Changzhou and vice president of the Charity Federation, attended the activity and delivered a speech.

    This year’s subsidies are specified for students with household register in Xinbei, Tianning, Zhonglou and Qishuyan Districts. 425 students meeting the requirements are granted 11.02 billion yuan in total. The grants are classified as 3,000 yuan for undergraduate student and 2,000 yuan for junior-college student.

    The Charity Federation will carry out the second term of declaration, approval and issuance of student subsidies after all schools have started again. 

    The Charity Federation of Changzhou was founded at the end of 2005, since which it has carried out charitable activities for nine straight years and has granted a total of 23.285 million yuan to tens of thousands of students.

    More and more entrepreneurs and caring people are joining the charity to help students in difficulty.
