The expansion construction of Desheng wharf of Changzhou Port, with the investment of RMB 221 million, has been accomplished and put into operation.

The new wharf will effectively ease the insufficient parking capacity, improve the port functions, and promote the function adjustment and resource integration.  

In addition, the project of No. 1 Berth of Luanzhou Port has been formally approved by Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission. Changzhou will invest RMB 202 million for building the new berth. After the completion and operation, it is expected to complete cargo throughput of 8 million tons in 2011.   

In 2010, Luanzhou Port hit several historic high records with its excellent operation performance and completed the cargo throughout of 6.686 million tons.
