After a week of quarantine, examination and disease prevention, the two pandas sent from China Conservation and Research Center of Giant Panda in Sichuan province are ready to meet the visitors to Yancheng Safari Park.

Reporter learned from Yancheng Safari Park yesterday that both of the pandas are female, named 鈥楢ili鈥 and 鈥楨rqiao.鈥 They are four years old, equivalent to the human age of 10 according to the life cycle of giant panda.

To ensure the health of the pandas, Yancheng Safari Park specifically built a high-quality panda鈥檚 home for them with an area of about 1,500 square meters, which is divided into indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor area is filled with green grass and dotted with trees, wooden bed, pool and other recreational facilities. It is in a semi-open structure which allows the tourists to have a close view of panda鈥檚 daily outings. The indoor area contains two playgrounds for panda, both equipped with air conditioners, humidifiers, heaters, UV sterilization lights, etc.

The two pandas mainly eat bamboo, some delivered from Chengdu by air and some shipped from the bamboo breeding base in Hengshanqiao, Wujin, Changzhou.
