As informed on May 24, the Optical Component Project of AAC Acoustic Technologies Holdings Inc. (AAC Technologies) located in Wujin Import & Export Processing Zone was officially commenced on May 19, with a total investment of $525 million. It’s planning construction covers 250 mu, including 55 mu of the first-phase project. After putting into production, 300 million pieces of precision optical products will be made every year to be widely used in mobile phones, laptops, digital cameras, etc.  

AAC Technologies has become an internationally renowned company with strong capability of independent innovation and production. It closely works with Samsung, HP, Huawei, Lenovo, etc., and has undertaken a number of Chinese national programs for industrial upgrading and technology transfer. Last year, its sales exceeded 8.0 billion yuan.

According to statistics, AAC Technologies’ cumulative investment in Changzhou has surpassed 5 billion yuan, of which R & D investment is over 2 billion yuan.
