Recently, the Swiss-Chinese Association donated health support products including lung capacity training equipment and disinfectants to Changzhou. The association hoped to distribute these products to an elderly home, to help seniors increase their lung strength and use the disinfectants for protection from the virus.

On January 11, Sima Shuanglong, vice director of Foreign Affairs Office of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government and vice chairman of Changzhou People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, led officials to the Sanjing Branch of Changzhou Dingwu Hospital and delivered the products to them. The donation comes from the heart of the members of Swiss-Chinese Association, said Sima, hoping these medical supplies will enhance Dingwu Hospital’s capacity to take care of elderly as virus control is now being conducted on an ongoing basis.

The hospital expressed gratitude to Swiss-Chinese Association and the Foreign Affairs Office for the high-quality products which will greatly support its epidemic prevention and control work, and hoped that Switzerland will overcome the pandemic in the near future.
