Yesterday, The Fifth China-US Green Energy Annual Conference & 2012 China (Changzhou) Smart City Development International Forum was held in Changzhou. A group of Chinese and foreign experts gathered here to speed up the development of green industry, green energy, and promote the construction of “Smart Changzhou”.  Mayor Yao Xiaodong, vice mayor Fang Guoqiang participated in the forum.
　　Focused on the theme of “Green industries make a smart city”, the forum is organized by Changzhou municipal government, the US-China Green Energy Council, China High-tech Industry Institute, untaken by Changzhou Foreign Affairs Office, Changzhou Economic & Information Commission, and supported by Silicon Valley office of the U.S. Department of Commerce. The forum aims to gather high-quality resources at home and abroad to promote international exchange and cooperation in building smart city.
