On the noon of June 3, Mayor Fei Gaoyun met with the delegation headed by Liao Xuefu, Chief Executive Officer at Lite-On IT Corporation, in the Administration Center.

Lite-On IT Corporation, a subsidiary of Lite-On Group, is a worldwide supplier of computer peripherals, ranging from optical disc solutions to digital consumer appliances for the PC and Consumer Electronics industry. Lite-On Group expanded its product family into the field of medical diagnostics in 2011. In May 2014, Lite-On Group and Changzhou West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Zone (JiangsuWujin Economic Zone, WEZ) signed an agreement to invest $ 10 million in the WEZ to establish Lite-On Medical Devices (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., specializing in the production and management of diagnostic reagents and equipment.

Fei said that Lite-On has become a leader in the LED industry in Changzhou after years of development, while the medical devices project will further promote the development of Changzhou’s healthcare industry. He stated that Changzhou Municipal Government would continue its full support for Lite-On’s development in Changzhou, and hoped both sides to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation.

Liao expressed gratitude for the strong support offered by the Changzhou Municipal Government and hoped that both sides would continue to work together to achieve further development.
