On February 28, a delegation from the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, headed by Bao Wen, a member of the board of directors, visited Changzhou and held a meeting with Zhang Yu, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government.
During the meeting, Zhang Yu briefed the delegation on Changzhou's social and economic development in recent years, including the economic and trade cooperation with Italy. He proposed further cooperation with the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce to facilitate local businesses' global reach.
Bao Wen, in turn, introduced the current situation of the Chamber of Commerce and expressed the desire to collaborate with the Changzhou Foreign Affairs Office to promote cooperation between Changzhou and Italy in various areas.
The two sides also discussed matters related to the upcoming 2nd Changzhou Commerce Forum, which will be hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, as well as the visit of the Consul General of Italy in Shanghai in March.
