Jintan district sent a delegation on an investment promotion mission to Germany from January 28 to February 7.

The mission, made up of two teams, visited 15 鈥渉idden champion鈥� companies and relevant institutions in Bavaria, Baden-W眉rttemberg, Schwarzwald, and Berlin.

Hidden champions are relatively small but highly specialized companies that are world-market leaders.

Members of the mission pursued bilateral trade and investment opportunities during the 10-day company site visits.

The mission held talks with companies intending or planning to invest in Changzhou and invited their senior officials to visit us in the first half of 2023, said Zhu Fenkou, director of administrative affairs of the Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industrial Park (SGIP) in Jintan.

Zhu added that SGIP will see one or two more German-invested projects settle within the park in April.
