Israel has not only managed to create a remarkable agricultural transformation but has emerged as a global leader in agriculture and water management. On July 28, Changzhou held a Roadshow for Israeli Agricultural Projects.
Israel has turned the land it occupies from an empty desert into a lush, agricultural wonder. The fruits and vegetables produced in Israel account for 40% of the European market. Its animal husbandry is also well developed, with the milk yield ranking first in the world.
The roadshow hosted Changzhou, as part of the city’s Rural Revitalization Project, will help local agricultural enterprises gain access to high-end innovative resources so as to improve their R&D capabilities. The eight Israeli projects participating in the roadshow demonstrated the innovative automation and industrial information technologies they applied in breeding and cultivation, water management, greenhouse and automatic milking.
The event was jointly hosted by the Changzhou Municipal Finance Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park and the Jiangsu Sino-Israel Technology Research Institute.
