Recently, the 2020 Ston Robot Forum on Automation Technology for Wind Energy was held in Wujin National High-Tech Industrial Zone. Focusing on automation technology for wind energy, intelligent manufacturing of wind booster parts and development of heavy-duty truss manipulators, more than 100 participants from components manufacturers, equipment suppliers and engineering technology providers, as well as universities and research institutes, attended the event and discussed the future of wind energy industry.

At present, the demand for wind power equipment has been growing drastically worldwide. Modern wind turbines have scaled up in size to multi-megawatt power ratings, requiring intelligent manufacturing of large core components. Ston Robot, as the only supplier of truss manipulators loading up to 4 tons in China, took the lead in drafting the General Technical Requirements of Truss Robots and established the Jiangsu Industrial Gantry Robots Engineering Research Center. It has been rated as a ”gazelle company” of Southern Jiangsu Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone for two consecutive years.

Ston Robot also launched its new gantry robot model and system at the forum.
