On April 22, a significant event unfolded as Changzhou National High-Tech District (CND) and Tianjin Zhonghe Gene Technology Co., Ltd. came together for a project signing ceremony. Vice Mayor Jiang Pengju attended the event, welcoming Jiang Huifeng, an investigator at the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and co-founder of Zhonghe Gene.
Zhonghe Gene unveiled its commitment to an industrialization project centered on DNA synthesis equipment and supporting consumables within the Changzhou Life and Health Industrial Park. Additionally, the company outlined plans to establish a service center catering to the entire Yangtze River Delta.
Backed by a substantial investment of approximately 50 million yuan, the project zeroes in on core products like gene splicing and gene synthesis equipment. Initially, the focus will be on equipment sales, supplemented by supporting consumables and gene synthesis services. As the project scales up to full production capacity, it anticipates churning out over 200 sets of DNA synthesis equipment annually, with sales exceeding 150 million yuan. This expansion is poised to fortify Zhonghe Gene's foothold in the East China region, marking a significant leap forward in the realm of DNA synthesis services.
