Heinz Glas (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. held its opening ceremony and celebration activity for the 400th anniversary of its parent company, Heinz Glas, on March 9th.

Founded in Germany in 1622, Heinz Glas is a leading global manufacturer of container glass for high-end perfume and cosmetic bottles.

In October 2018, Heinz Glas (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in the Binjiang Economic Development Zone of Xinbei district, with a total investment of $47 million. The first-phase project, which began construction in 2020, was put into operation in August 2022, with an expected annual sales revenue of approximately 180 million yuan in 2023.

The event marked an important milestone for Heinz Glas (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. and its parent company, highlighting their commitment to delivering high-quality products to customers in China and globally.

Notably, Xinbei district is now home to over 50 German-funded manufacturers, further strengthening Changzhou鈥檚 economic cooperation with Germany.
