Jiangsu province reported five local asymptomatic carriers of Covid-19 on September 25.

The new cases were registered in Xuzhou and Suzhou cities.

Two inbound confirmed cases and eight inbound symptomless cases were newly reported in the province.

Another hospitalized Covid-19 patient was discharged, while three asymptomatic carriers (all inbound) were released from medical observation.

Sixteen confirmed cases (one local and 15 inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 78 asymptomatic carriers (15 local and 63 inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 687 high-risk, 820 medium-risk and 113 low-risk areas.
