In less than two weeks, the Spring Festival travel rush, also known as chunyun, will start on January 17 and end on February 25.

During the seven-day holiday period, transportation authorities will have to arrange the services while taking into consideration requirements to contain COVID-19.

Railway ticket sales for Spring Festival has begun on Monday, January 3.

Passengers can book train tickets at China Railway’s official website www.12306.cn, via the app Tielu 12306, or by calling the reservation office at 95105105. 

Passengers heading toward Beijing need to show the nucleic acid test results and health codes before getting into the departure stations outside Beijing.
