On August 16, the three-day 2023 Summer Training for Changzhou鈥檚 Education Officials commenced. A total of 1,880 officials from the Municipal Education Bureau, its affiliated units, and education administration departments of the city鈥檚 districts attended both online and offline training sessions. City leaders Li Wenhong, Xu Huaqin, and Wan Limei delivered speeches.

The theme of this training is "Thoroughly Studying and Implementing the Guiding Principles of the 20th Party Congress, Advancing the Development of an Education Powerhouse, and Continuously Improving Changzhou鈥檚 Education Services." The training adopts a combination of concentrated study, live streaming, expert guidance, experience sharing, and interactive communication, embracing a blended learning approach.

During the training, lectures will be delivered by invited experts, including Wang Chengbin, secretary of the CPC Nanjing Normal University Committee, Cui Xianglie, executive director of China Education Association鈥檚 Committee on Safety Education and Management in Primary and Secondary Schools, Prof. Peng Xianggang, doctoral supervisor at the University of International Business and Economics, Zhu Yan, principal of Nanjing No.1 High School, and Prof. Ma Ling from Jiangsu University of Technology.

This summer training program has become a regular activity and a hallmark project of Changzhou鈥檚 education departments, being held continuously for nearly 30 years.
