Between October 13th and 14th, the six-member delegation headed by Hon. Muesee Kazapua, Mayor of Windhoek, Namibia, visited Changzhou. On the afternoon of Oct. 13th, Party Secretary Yan Li met with the Namibian delegation.

During the meeting, Yan Li briefed the delegation on Changzhou's achievements in economic and social development in recent years. He hoped Changzhou and Windhoek would carry out further exchanges and cooperation in more areas. Hon. Muesee Kazapua said that their purpose of visiting Changzhou was to deepen mutual understanding and expand exchanges and cooperation between Changzhou and Namibia in various fields.

Windhoek is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Namibia. It is located in central Namibia in the Khomas Highland plateau area, at around 1,700 metres (5,600 ft) above sea level, almost exactly at the country's geographical centre. Windhoek is the social, economic, political, and cultural centre of the country. Nearly every Namibian national enterprise, governmental body, educational and cultural institution is headquartered in Windhoek.
