A person who returned from overseas to Changzhou tested positive for the coronavirus after completing 14 days of quarantine, according to Changzhou health authorities.
The person, surnamed Zhang, arrived in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, from India on March 26. After completing quarantine. Zhang flew to Changzhou's Benniu International Airport before arriving home at Lantian Huayuan residential community by taxi.
Zhang tested positive on Sunday and was sent to a designated hospital to receive treatment.
Doctors confirmed that Zhang was an asymptomatic patient. Local health authorities have tracked down Zhang's contacts, all of whose tests were negative as of noon on April 11.
