On April 14, the Liyang county-level city of Changzhou allocated 231,900 yuan in monthly allowance for the first group of 713 young professionals introduced into the city.

People eligible to receive the allowance are enterprise employees who have graduated from a Ph.D. program in the past two years, or aged below 35 with a master鈥檚 degree, bachelor鈥檚 degree, or technician certificate, given that they have been contributing to the social security system for at least six months in a row.

This allowance, with a fixed amount of 800, 500, or 300 yuan, will be allocated for three years. Qualified recipients are screened automatically by the Changzhou Subsidy Program for Young Talents for relevant information through big data.
