At the project promotion conference of Jiangsu province held in Suzhou recently, Lou Qinjian, secretary of CPC Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, announced the first group of 1,473 major projects for the year 2020.

Changzhou has 95 projects selected into the provincial major programs, with a total investment of 52 billion yuan and a planned investment of 19.7 billion in 2020. Among these programs, there are 36 strategic emerging industrial projects, 43 advanced manufacturing projects and 16 modern services projects.

Over the past six years, Changzhou has successfully launched over 80 projects making major breakthroughs, including 18 programs surpassing the 10 billion yuan level. At the beginning of 2020, Changzhou has already got 22 industrial projects selected into the provincial major programs, ranking second in the province.
