On the morning of December 14, Party Secretary Qi Jiabin met with the delegation headed by Xia Yuyang, assistant to the president of the People's Insurance Company of China (PICC) and general manager of PICC Jiangsu.

Qi Jiabin expressed his appreciation to PICC for supporting Changzhou’s economic and social development over the years, marking that PICC Changzhou has been rated by the municipal government as a five-star enterprise for the sixth consecutive year. The 14th Five-Year Plan period is crucial to Changzhou’s overall development, said Qi, looking forward to a closer cooperation with PICC in rolling out more programs to enhance the city’s social harmony and sustainability. He stated that local governments at all levels will keep improving the business environment and financial ecosystem to support enterprises’ development in Changzhou.

Xia Yuyang pointed out that PICC Changzhou is ranked among the group’s top branches in Jiangsu province in terms of business development. Going forward, PICC will deploy its insurance, investment and financial service businesses in accordance with Changzhou’s strategic decisions made for the 14th Five-Year Plan, said Xia, hoping to expand cooperation with Changzhou in the areas of real economy, social governance, social security and rural revitalization.  

City leaders Fang Guoqiang and Liang Yipo were also present at the meeting.
