AutoNavi, a provider of web mapping, navigation, and location-based services, recently released the National Public Toilet Map 2022 and announced for the first time the top 10 cities with user-friendly public toilets.
Changzhou, having fulfilled its three-year plan for toilet evolution, is one of the four cities in Jiangsu province on the top 10 list.
Since 2019, the city has built or renovated 326 urban public toilets, perfecting their cleanliness, convenience, and aesthetics, with new technologies.
China launched the toilet revolution in 2015 to increase the number and sanitation of toilets at tourist sites. The campaign expanded to improve public toilets in cities and build better private toilets in rural areas.
