In a recent investigation conducted by the Jiangsu Provincial United Front Work Department on April 17th, it was revealed that Changzhou's renowned "Entrepreneurial Bridge" event has reached a milestone of two decades of success, facilitating the relocation of over 250 overseas talents to the city. Among them, more than 70 individuals from both domestic and international backgrounds have emerged as key leaders. The event has solidified its position as a crucial platform within Changzhou's overseas Chinese affairs system, providing essential services for talent recruitment and supporting overseas Chinese and returning scholars interested in innovation and entrepreneurship in China.
Since its inception in 2004, the "Entrepreneurial Bridge" has welcomed over 1,200 overseas high-level talents from 27 countries and regions. Recent years have witnessed the event's evolution with a steadfast commitment to comprehensive services, bridging the critical "last mile" for overseas talent support. In the past three years alone, 37 top-tier talents have been recognized as "Changzhou Talent," with 14 entrepreneurial individuals and teams successfully establishing themselves in Changzhou.
This initiative has sparked a surge of high-quality overseas talent projects, boasting significant innovation and investment potential, thereby strengthening connections between talent, projects, and capital. This dynamic engagement has played a pivotal role in advancing Changzhou's innovation-driven development strategy, cultivating a hub for top-tier innovators, and nurturing a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.
