Recently, it was learned from the Survey Office of the National Bureau of Statistics in Changzhou that Changzhou’s consumer price index (CPI) in June increased by 1.3% year-on-year, 0.3 percentage points lower than the pace of growth registered in May.

The prices of clothing, food, household appliances and maintenance services, goods and services of entertainment, education and culture, tobacco and alcohol, health care and products for personal use, and housing increased by 3.1%, 2.9%, 2.4%, 1.6%, 1.5%, 1.1% and 0.6% respectively. The prices of transportation and communication reduced by 3.4%.
