Changzhou鈥檚 economy ended 2022 on a strong note.

The gross domestic product (GDP) in 2022, the sum of all goods and services produced for the January-to-December period, rose at a 3.5 percent annualized pace, the Statistics Bureau reported Thursday.

The full-year GDP surpassed the 900 billion yuan mark. Revenue in the general public budget reached 63.18 billion.

Photovoltaics (PV), New Energy Vehicle (NEV) and EV battery industries increased 2.1 percent in the value of output for the period.

The per capita disposable personal income rose 4.6 percent from a year ago.
