Recently, Jintan Hua Luogeng Science Park has been approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government as a provincial high-tech industrial development zone.

Founded in 2014, Hua Luogeng Science Park is an important part of Jintan Economic Development Zone. Six years on, the park has featured an industrial system with a new generation of information technology and new energy vehicles as the core, gathering a group of leading companies like Sunway Communication, FRD, CALB and BTR. At present, the park is home to 51 high-tech enterprises, based on which a series of IUR (Industry-University-Research) cooperation agreements have been signed with nine universities and research institutes nationwide.

Going forward, Hohai University’s new campus in Jintan, which is now under construction, will serve as a talent cultivation base for the park. At the same time, the park’s three major areas for innovation -- Science Park of Hohai University, Hua Luogeng Industrial Science & Technology Innovation Center, and China-Japan (Jintan) Industrial Park -- will be constructed as planned.

Adhering to innovation-driven industrial development , the upgraded Hua Luogeng High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, together with the other five industrial parks in Jintan, will be committed to promoting high-quality economic development of the region.
