On June 16, Lixiang Automotive held a delivery ceremony for its 10,000th electric vehicle produced in Changzhou. Since the Changzhou plant started mass delivery in December last year, Lixiang Automotive has maintained its strong growth momentum, ranking first in the domestic plug-in electric vehicle market for three consecutive months.

The main feature of Lixiang Automotive is to produce an EV without 'Range Anxiety'. This goal will be achieved by the extended-range electric vehicle (E-REV) which is effectively an all-electric vehicle, with all the motive power provided by an electric motor, but with a small ICE present to generate additional electric power. Its new Lixiang ONE model offers a range of more than 800km for the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) and 690km for the WLTP (World Light Vehicle Test Procedure).

Before the end of July, Lixiang Automotive’s Changzhou retail center will open in the Injoy Plaza, Wujin district. From June 16 to September 30, the first 100 Changzhou purchasers of Lixiang ONE who also registered license plates in Changzhou will each receive a 10,000 yuan cash subsidy and a 3,600 yuan Star Charge card.

At present, the Wujin National High-tech Industrial Zone (WIZ) has gathered more than 50 enterprises above designated size in the smart electric vehicle industry, with an output value of nearly 8 billion yuan.
